after there were already information and discussion about the Beanconqueror App (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7251&hilit=beanconqueror I thought it would be a better thing, to make an own topic for this.

Pressure devices
Support of 'Do it yourself' Popsicle - Sensor - Thanks to Mike and Shay
Autostart timer on a specific pressure - editable in settings
Press of pressure gauge, will reset pressure to 0

Bluetooth scales
Support of Eureka Precisa - Thanks to Mimoja
Define the behavior of the bluetooth scale on a new brew - editable in settings
Define which graphs should be displayed on filter or espresso - editable in settings
Sequential processing of bluetooth commands to reduce issues

Supports now milliseconds - Activate in settings

Small Scale"hack":
Some has encountered the issue, that the scale is sometimes not proper connected, even so it shows its connected, but the weight is not transferred.
You can now reconnect the scale inside a new brew or when editing a brew.
If the weight-tile is not showing "?" anymore, the connection should be stable and the weight is transferred.

Define who long shall be waited until the next bluetooth command

Brews
Reset the Brewtime dates
If Bluetooth-Scale connected, the last brew weight will be displayed in the tile
Bigger buttons on the maximized brew graph
Choose excel or json by downloading the brew data
Bean pictures can now be displayed, instead of preparation method icons/pictures -> Activate in the settings

Beans
Beans can now be searched by there varieties

Mills
Displaying notes inside the list and detail view

Improvements
Choose how many milliseconds shall be displayed (Entered values still need to be 3 decimal places)
Added donation buttons (just Android)
Textareas are now scrollable
Brewtime at statistics are now formatted
Notification popups appear now on top and can be closed by X
Disabled detail parameter are active now, e.g. can now be the Grinder be hidden
Analytics can be deactivated or activated

I tried the application, and i must say that i am impressed. I have felicita arc and the provided app is useless. I liked the app and i have some comments from my side: i noticed my phone screen goes off very quickly making difficult to control the app. It could be nice if you can provide the option so the screen can stay on.
My second comment is for the flow diagram, i did not find the option to shorten the brew time. Eg I tested with my scale only to weight, so i had to manually stop the app after i stop the machine. So the brew time was longer than the real.

I like the design of the app, is simple, maybe some settings could be condensed so they do not fill the whole screen.



Edit: i found the setting for the screen to be active. It could be nice to be enabled by default.

Great you already found the settings to enable the screen stays on.
Sadly this is not possible as restrictions from the platforms could come in.
Apple is checking the app very closely, and rejects things which are not allowed on their site - I would not go in a new issue, cause of the displays stays on from default, to be honest.

For the flow diagram:
The flow diagram is a big thing, and I wouldn't believe myself how hard it is to match the data and render them and which kind of brewing-issues comes with these.
In the next couple of weeks I'll try to official and other apps inside the stores and will have a look how they handled these kind of issues.
Shorten the brew time would be one possible way, but this needs again a UI/UX concept, and actually the flow graph I use is for live-streaming data, and not rather for reverting the last +X seconds.
Maybe its also a solution to change the brewers habit like: I stop my machine, I stop the app - thats the way I do it.

Just for Espresso preparations: Activate in Settings, that a brew will be automatic stopped, when no flow rate is detected anymore
Added safety popup, when Beanconqueror doesn't receive any weight updates from a scale

Share beans as an image now as well as an url

The shot data of pressure and temperature are recorded now as well

If a brew is stopped, the brew graph is now fully displayed

Export/Import
Instead of a .JSON-File we're now using .ZIP-Files, which are now used for import and export

Version 6.6.2 is live!

Due to Google's requirement to increase the Android Target SDK to 33, we've also encountered the issue of severely restricted file system access for Beanconqueror.
While testing on my devices (including Android 13), I couldn't reproduce the problem in the same way because my Google Pixel seemed to have some kind of fallback.
Anyways, it was recognized, and a hotfix was necessary.

What's important to note: Import/export still works, but you'll need to do it slightly differently than before. You can find all the information about this here -> https://beanconqueror.com/faq
Additionally, the minimum Android level is now 7.0 (previously 5.1); this couldn't be kept lower due to the requirements of the new Target SDK.

For those with older Android devices, you can still download the old releases on GitHub (anything below 6.6.2).

After several library updates were required, the iOS app has also been updated.
